Introduction / The Best Face Cleanser

Hello! I've been wanting to express my knowledge of cosmetics for a long time. I'm still learning about the best cosmetics and the worse, and I have always been thankful for reviews. Honestly, the best way to find out if a product is right for you is to research reviews. I hope that I can help as well. Not only with finding the best cosmetics, but with anything and everything that has to do with cosmetics.
I do have a youtube account where I first hoped to express myself, but I am truly a blogger at
heart. haha.
Anyway, I NEED to share this find with you all.

I purchased this product about a month ago, give or take. It is Shiseido's White
Lucent Brightening skin care set. I have spent many dollars on cleansers, toners, lotions, and did I mention cleansers? So browsing through Sephora, I bet my money on another set. This, however was the best thing I have done yet.

This set comes with a White Lucent Brigh
tening Cleansing Foam, White Lucent Brightening Refining Softener, and
White Lucent Brightening Protective Moisturizer.

My skin-type is relatively normal. I have congested areas (black and white heads) around my T-zone, and I break out on my forehead, chin area, and sometim
es my neck. Normally, I don't have dry skin unless I over
exfoliate and my skin tone is often uneven (red and yellow tones)

The Cleansing Foam is something like heaven. All you need is a dime-sized amount, about the length of your fingertip, and the soft, milky-like foam never ends. What I like best about the cleanser is that is WORKS. The cleanser GENTLY removes
After a 2 weeks of using the cleanser, all of my typical breakouts reduced from 8 to 10 ratimpurities while brightening the skin, which in turn even
s out my skin tone. It smoot
hs my skin and literally, removes all dullness. I suppose it has a special Asian plant, which does something magical with moisturizing the skin or whatnot.
io, to a 2 to 10 ratio. Even with stress, I was able continue to wear less foundation because of my now clear skin.

The one thing I noticed after using the cleanser that I DID NOT like, was that my skin felt like how it does if I washed my face with a bar of soap. It did not feel like smooth butter, more like smooth leather...if that makes sense haha. But that was not an issue if I used the next step!

The Brightening refining softener is not my favorite product of this set, but it removes a lot of the residue the cleanser did not sweep off my face. It also softens the "leather-like" texture the cleanser left behind. I use any tissue I can find, and splash the softener on it. I wipe my
face in sweeping motions with the soaked tissue and ta da. I don't feel like it exfoliates, but I do believe it moisturizes and calms my skin.

W-O-W. That is exactly what comes to mind when I use the moisturizer. I use a quarter-sized amount to smooth the yellow, liquid-lotion on my face. The main reason I wanted this set is because of my dark, faded scars from previous acne spots.
I felt like a brightening skin care set would eliminate the ugly, discolored scars. Although it did not get rid of my scars, it IMPROVED a lot more than what I bargained for. The lotion, especially, brightens my skin INSTANTLY. My skin tone is evened out immediately, and my dark scars are blended into my skin.
I do not feel like the effects are permanent, but the immediate effects last all day. Unfortunately, the moisturizer is used for daytime only. But it contains SPF 16, which is an essential for ANY
moisturizer or lotion.

My skin has improved in less than a months time, and I have not become immune to its magic. Although Shisiedo is not the cheapest brand, it is the best...so far! haha. Normally, I do not take pictures when I have bad skin, so I do not have a "before" photo. But here is an "after":
Bright, luminous, and (almost) acne-free skin! :)

XOXO
